Bhakti Kala Kshetra is the cultural wing of ISKCON Juhu. It is the Devotional Centre for Performing Arts.
It fulfils Srila Prabhupada’s desire to see everyone, without discrimination of caste and creed, have a spiritual experience through the performing arts.
It seeks to awaken man’s spiritual consciousness through films, theatre, concerts, ballets and devotional songs in today’s materialistic society seeped in the pervasive effect of the mass media.
Besides being a showplace for India’s venerable artists, the Bhakti Kala Kshetra also promotes aspiring artistes from new ballet and drama companies.
Ravi Shankar, Protima Bedi, Vyajayantimala, Hema Malini, Anup Jalota and countless others began their careers here, and later became famous artists.
Bhakti Kala Kshetra also gives international exposure to performers who present charity shows in foreign countries. The artists are also satisfied and the listeners also benefit by hearing devotional songs.
It has a 525 seater auditorium which is amongst India’s most sophisticated and versatile.
Excellent for hosting conferences, weddings, receptions, plays, club meetings, concerts, annual general body meetings, school programs, anniversaries, birthday celebrations and arangetrams. |
